Aluminium Anodes
As a type of sacrificial anode, aluminum anodes are a popular choice for off-shore cathodic protection due to its low weight, simplicity of installation and ability to be cast into a variety of shapes and sizes to meet required specification.
Typically, aluminum anodes are used to prevent corrosion of steel structures in seawater and fresh water. Although the voltage rate is lower than that of magnesium anodes, aluminum anodes have a much slower consumption rate, making them ideally suited for seawater applications such as marine vessels, ship hulls, ballast tanks, marine engineering, harbor facilities, subsea pipelines and offshore drilling platforms.
We offer a comprehensive selection of aluminum anodes in various sizes, weights and core configurations. Currently our production capacity for aluminum anodes reaches up to 5,000 tons per year.
